I have heard of people recoding their F-series BMWs from 6NH to 6NS. I definitely want to know what the extra $500 buys me, and what comes stock. I haven't been in a recent BMW that couldn't stream audio through Bluetooth.
If the extra $500 lets me tether my phone to the car, use Siri, and transfer directions, dictate texts/iMessages, emails, etc to the car, I'd pick it up.

Oh yeah, can BMW change the default behavior of disabling bluetooth when I plug my phone into the USB for charging? That is the most annoying thing. Most of the time, my phone stays in my pocket, but as soon as I want to charge, BMW in its infinite wisdom assumes I no longer want to use bluetooth streaming. I guess I gotta get one of those adapters that opens the USB data lines so I just get the 5V to charge.
