If the car will be stock, the major issues that plague other M cars (bearings, actuators, SMG issues, etc) are non existent on this chassis. I would say the likelihood of having major repair is much lower on these cars... If you plan to tune the ECU, then you are better off spending that money on a crank hub Key as that is the major fault of the f80, and if you tune the warranty company wont pay for the repairs anyways most likely.
