Apparently it is model specific as to which cars need them and which do not
My cars is pre LCI F32 435, I purchased new lci tails off forum that were for a F82 M4. Tails between the 2 cars are same so no problem there. I didn't purchase drip rails as quite a few said they weren't necessary...
Figured no big deal if they weren't I'd just leave them off till I ordered new. If they were OK I'd be ahead of the game
Turns out, on my 2015 435 they weren't necessary
