You said "crazy grip drop throughout a day" which is not true of the RE71R. Greasy as in you need to try harder to achieve the same lap time or even a slightly lower lap time, I never specified how much they fall off, but you made it sound more dramatic than it is.

I haven't found anything comparable when balancing life/grip/feedback.
The only tire that I've been told comes close is the RR but even then it's about half the life of the NT01. Fast is good but I'm not at the level where I'm shaving tenths so my experience with them so far has been really satisfying. I did manage to heat cycle them out after around 8-10 track days. Tons of tread left.
