I used my own HU, which was sacrificial in a sense. I have a feeling that it won't be too long before I purchase a non-RUEKO NBT2 to replace it with, although tearing apart the entire dash will surely suck.
For now I use my phone for nav; Google Assistant via Bluetooth is pretty great fwiw.
