You haven't got a clue have you Benji?! The new M3 should cost me $ 200 per month less to fuel than my E90 M3.. I'm happy with that. It also means I can travel further before having to fill up.
For the cost of your M3 in the States you would be looking at a 320d here in Europe and paying more to fuel that car than an M3 in the States so don't patronise me regarding my finances and tell me what I should or shouldn't be buying.
I would have bought this car regardless of fuel economy but a more powerful and fuel efficient M3 is good news. Nobody is suggesting that you should buy this car for it's fuel economy but for those of us who live in countries where fuel is not cheap it's a bonus that we can run our new M3s and save a bit of cash on fuel compared to the outgoing model.
