It is entirely possible to remove the speed limiter using a v1 procede. I have done it. I have plenty of experience with the procede/xede. I was one of the first beta testers, have seen the insides, know a lot about how they work. Its rather simple but until shiv releases v2 it probably shouldnt be common knowledge.
