Also, the Federal 275 rears you got may also have been taller than the stock continental 275s. Different manufacturer's tires are not made to identical heights, widths, etc. They are all slightly different.

I've tried 255/285-35-19 F/R PSS F and PS4S R and had TCS interventions occasionally - maybe once every 500-1000 miles. Switching to 265-35-19 PS4S to match the rear 285-35-19 PS4S completely eliminated all TCS interventions.

I'd also recommend sticking w/ high quality tires like Michelin. They are worth the added cost IMO. They have excellent ride and handling and last a fairly long time as well considering their excellent performance.
Ahh makes sense. Appreciate it. Last set isn't worn down, but will throw on the same brand 265/35 up front too then.
