There is nothing about a straight edge that gives any insight whatsoever into the material used. With the shape it could equally be steel, aluminum or carbon fiber. My bet is that it will be aluminum just like the current M3. |
I agree with swamp2, but my reasoning was,- knowing upon learning how hard it is to build CF parts, eapecially edge lines are the most difficult to produce... all points out to the hood on the M4 to be made of CF.
It has been said, BMW M is going the route of weight reduction, so CF Hood would be logical... but then I wonder,- how much lighter CF Hood would be than the Aluminum one?
