If the control unit on the headlight was also replaced, it needs to be coded. If you're not comfortable with coding control units on your car, try to find someone local to you that is or bite the bullet and pay the dealer. I've only ever coded with NCSExpert on older models, so I won't be able to walk you through it on the F30. The issue is your headlight control unit isn't coded to the car, so your car 'thinks' that there isn't a headlight there. I'm assuming you have xenon's that came on the F30.
