I think you need to edit Max. Rpm setting, if you activate it and read it say M cars use common limit for all modes(D/Manual) so you edit for every change(1-2 2-3 etc) and this values are for all modes, auto,manual(launch because without it these cars hit rev limiter same as truly manual car).
