I've had cases where my passenger wanted it much colder/warmer than I do, so dual zone is good, but ultimately, the cabin temp ends up being a mix so it's really only what blows directly on you.
Still - the old school analogue controls bemuse me. Can still do single zone A/C with digital technology. My home is.
