I'll weigh in and say I like meaty tires on attractive rims, and the 18" work for me. In the 19" render, the ratios are being kept the same so they don't shrink wheel gap.

I drive on real world roads in the 3rd world country known as PA/NJ and 19" get eaten up too easily. Further, with this much torque I'm going to be eating up tires - so 18" are going to represent a significant savings over time.

The fender gap itself doesn't bother me too much and I think is mostly a by-product of the renderings. The real life photos show it's there, but much less than these renderings would indicate.

Further, the F30 platform at least has glorious suspension travel and chassis control that does an amazing job of providing ride comfort yet control. If the F80 platform needs a bit of wheel gap to offer excellent wheel travel for a performance oriented machine - so be it.

Just my take. Go before show.
100% agreed. Chicago roads are awful, too, and they're getting eaten alive right now from all the salt and snow plows.
