Tried purple crack for the first time running 295/315 Hoosier A7 scrubs on Apex 18x10 and 18x11 SM10s. And yes, they really are like crack!
6sec faster than her personal best on Toyo RRs and her line isn't perfect or anything... in fact, straight aways speeds are 2-3mph slower than usual and still crushed her Toyo RR times without any fuss! Only catch is that she can only run 2-3 hot timed laps before she has to pit in and let the tires cool. They start to feel greasy quickly.
Wifey (black helmet, mine is white) ran a new personal best and new fast lap for the car (with one of us driving) at NCM with a 2:20.25!
