If you have a 2016, they replace your ATM in the rear to a unit that supports VoLTE and bandbonding. The HU will remain the 2016 inferior HardWare 2.x that will not support a number of Connected Drive/Remote Services Functions that the higher HW levels do, though one can retrofit a newer HU and gain those functions.
As yours is a 2017, they simply flash your iLevel to the latest software version telling your equipment to use VoLTE and not attempt GSM Voice Communication. No hardware is replaced. |
