I was thinking perhaps switching to Motul Excess2 5W40 or Redline 5W40 for this coming year instead continuing with Sport 5W40 as it's not as widely available this year it seems.

This is actually my plan with the new car, which is my daily driver as well (Redline 5W30 in early Spring for track months, then in Fall change to Xcess Gen2 5W40)
