Yes post LCI the E90 did look much more similar to the E92, but the stacks are still different. For example the HVAC controls don't include heated seats in the E90, they are still in a separate row of buttons on the bottom of the stack whereas in the E92 post LCI they are in the same cluster as the HVAC.
The point is, the interior pic in the OP is NOT an E90, it's an E92.
