I would never ever work with a dealer who marked up over msrp in order to gouge consumer in the first year of a model release. The same thing was happening when the E46 M3 came out after a several year hiatus. My dealer stuck to msrp even though they could've tried to gouge consumers.
There are plenty of dealers who will not mark up over msrp because they don't want their customers to feel bitter when they see the same car a year later being priced at "invoice plus".
Take your business elsewhere.
