Go to bmwusa.com and click on "MyBMW". When you're presented with the login page, look to the right under "Check Out What's New". There's a new button labeled "Explore My Garage". Click on this button and it should take you to the new "My Garage" page. To log in, you have to use your ConnectDrive username and password. If you don't have a ConnectedDrive account, create one.
If you already have a ConnectedDrive account, My Garage should show you the vehicles that are already in your account. If not, just add the VINS. You will also have to provide the date that you purchased the vehicle.
If you have recently ordered a new vehicle and have the Production Number, you can enter that. Then click on Track My BMW and it will show you the production status. There are now 16 tracking stages:
- Order Received
- Schedule for production
- Production begins
- Exterior body assembly begins
- In paint booth
- Entering assembly line
- Assembly in progress
- Quality check
- Final assembly
- Ready for transport
- Awaiting carrier assignment
- Dispatched from factory
- At the port
- In transit
- At the dealership
- Vehicle Delivered.
For the last couple of days it has shown the status of my wife's M3 as "Scheduled for production". This morning it showed "Production begins. Today's the day: your BMW has entered the production queue."! The old tracking site still shows it as scheduled. |
