My 2018 M4 lease end is coming up in less than 90 days, so had been keeping an eye on the payoff. This whole time the "Customer Purchase Promotion" discount used to be $800, similar to what most forum members have reported before, but this week the discount has jumped up to 3k. Most likely due to the pandemic.
Was already considering buying out at lease end but this sweetens the deal some more. Especially compelling after looking at the
used pricing thread where you definitely don't see a 2018 ZCP for 41k.
Good time to buy if you are in similar shoes.
Separately, does anyone know if you can finance directly through BMW FS for lease buyout. So far I've been led to believe I can't and my options are either cutting FS a check or going through the dealer to finance or find another bank I suppose.
