^^ sometimes when you install the top hats you inadvertently could have fixed the issue by removing the strut/pintch bolt during the process.
I replaced my 5K mile car with a new oem top hats just to have the noise come back within two weeks. My last attempt has been silent for months now (clean, coated with copper anti seize, full send pinch bolt tightness)
