I replaced my oem suspension for coilovers at 74k miles. I did not know they were bad until I removed the old shock absorbers. The ride quality degraded over time but nothing that was very obvious that they were bad. To define bad - My front shock absorbers could easily be compressed and did not come back up at all unless manually pulling the shaft.
Nice, so they are durable.

My car has 33k only and I was asking a what mileage the shocks will be losing the performance.

What coil overs you mounted?
I went with Ohlins Road & Track. I daily drive, autocross and track the car.
Did you retain the EDC after the installation?

And what pads you use? The same for both activities or you change for track?
I did not retain EDC. I coded out EDC but I am happy with the suspension setup right now. Ohlins are 1 way adjustable.

I have been using Carbotech AX6 pads for both autocross and track but they are nearly done. I will be getting Carbotech XP12 for track and sticking to OEM pads for autocross.
