So interesting twist. The 2017 Cayman S in Palm Springs has not sold yet. (I saw it was still on their site days later so I created a new email address and name and reached out to a new salesperson to ask about availability.) The dealership was just tired of negotiating with me.  So I guess that option has returned, if I'm willing to pay their asking price (which is fair for the current market conditions).
With the benefit of more knowledge on what to look for I also noticed this "one owner" car is actually a PCNA executive car that was used by PCNA for 18 months and 7K miles before being leased and titled. I don't think that's necessarily a negative as I've read that people have good experiences with PCNA cars (and you get free PPF on the front end). |
