Not entirely my fault, but I was buying a pristine Honda S2000 chassis (higher mileage but the body was perfect, no dents, scratches etc.) and I needed to put wheels on it to get it to the tow truck. I had had the car on 4 jack stands and had already dropped the back of the car, and now had to lower the front onto the wheels. The guy I was buying it from said he'd move the jack stands from under the car so I didn't need to leave the car jack and pull them individually out. I proceeded to drop the car onto the ground, but before the wheels hit the ground I heard a crunch and realized the guy hadn't fully removed the jack stand, and it had caught itself underneath the front passenger fender, pushing the bottom of the fender where it meets the door up about 4 inches. It was a very depressing moment, and a life lesson to never trust anyone other than yourself in these situations. Being lazy cost me a bunch and destroyed a VIN matching fender.

That's brutal. Man
