BMW has desert facilities for hot weather testing, nurburgring for high speed and handling, northern facilities for cold weather, and west LA for testing in fancy environments.

I don't think BMW has a warehouse in MDR, but yes, their prototypes do zip through that area a lot. I've seen almost every M-car mule drive through there in the last 11 years, as well as several non-M mules. I'm pretty sure they undock at Point Hueneme and then make their way down the coast. |
Maybe they're all en route to the hot weather testing facility here in the states.
