It's not something that *I* would do.... but I do feel that people (and instructors as crazy as I to get in the right seat) should be able to take their convertibles on track.... although Hopefully.. at some point.. they decide a car with a roof would be a better choice. |
I was specifically talking about the M3, the folding metal roof adds so much weight it really ruins the M3 (and even a regular E92 in my opinion). I didn't mean to say that the M3 convertible is a worthless car for high performance driving but rather the people who are already adding 3-400lbs by going convertible vs coupe wouldn't mind a few more lbs for more comfortable seats.
