I was expecting faster than NT01 on a glory lap early on. Did not achieve that, but conditions were not great. Overall pace with traffic was the same as the NT01.
I drove at LRP and taking Big Bend felt faster, while taking the downhill felt less stable. Maybe it was just me as I took last year off from the track, and this was my first time out this year, but I was expecting something far more advanced than the NT01. Perhaps my expectations are far too high.
Other than that, very little feedback from the tire compared to the NT01 in terms of noise. Maybe that will change with more use.
I ran them at 26.5 cold and didn't get any of that low pressure rumble that I'd get with the NT01 from time to time so that was good.
One other observation, a new set of NT01s always picked up so much gravel which you could easily hear. Not the case with this tire. Is it not as sticky?
