Ya, that seems like an impulse buy or maybe the deal terms (trade value etc) worked for the buyer. 12k miles is not high in the grand scheme of things so hope the new buyer enjoys it.

A European CoC (Certificate of Conformance) from BMW is only $130 - I am quite surprised more cars have not been exported. Even with VAT/duties, an $80k car here would be ~88k EUR. It's definitely a bit of a hassle for seller/buyer, but both could do pretty well on that transaction. It's certainly an avenue I will explore when it's time to move on.
That's really interesting. You would think more would have been snapped up from here?
