The whole point of owning an M3/4 is to use it as a DD. its one of the worlds best all round cars. I use it as such.
That said I am considering buying a (cheap) old SUV (Jeep/Landcruiser) as a rain/ice/snow dd as well as to transport bigger loads etc.
