The power delivery is indeed extremely different, and far more peaky. I started working with Paul Johnson last week on dual custom tunes - One for E50 and one for regular 91oct pump gas (Arizona, no 93 unfortunately)
I will say having a custom tune has dramatically made up for the lack of low-end torque. The power band is smoother and in greater supply essentially everywhere. I'd highly recommend it! On just my second revision, I logged a 5.78 second 100-200kph, making my M3 on-par with a stock 488 GTB in a roll race. Having a blast lol
