https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=28356537 I have videos and description of a noise that I was having. long story short, there was quite a bit of metal debris in the oil filter and a bit of noise at cold start (that eventually went away after warming up). Shop's recommendation was an engine replacement as they were very confident that the metal was from the rod bearings. Thankfully I had extended warranty that covered everything except my $300 deductible.
