I thought the secondary damage to the rear was pretty interesting ... if I'm seeing it right, it was a front-end accident as a decent enough speed to deform the rear (i.e., protection around the passenger compartment). He could've been rear-ended as well, but to me looks like maybe secondary damage ...

If so, pretty interesting and something to look for even in a slow speed hit:
