In the F32/82, that same dash trim continued onto the doors. I am guessing that is what is being done to the F30/80 LCI.

Ok thanks. I follow what you're saying but still don't see that in the pics. I guess I would have to walk out to my car to have that "ah ha!" moment. IIRC there's a solid matte-finish strip across my door, whereas I have CF trim surrounded my the black chrome on the dash. Sounds like that strip in the door above the leather would now also be in a black-chrome, if I'm reading what you're saying correctly.
