1st..... if they ping the car and cant locate it then they have removed the battery for the time being or removed the com box. I have the bMW connected app and can find my car if the battery is still live. After that....its go fish. if they are removing the com box or the battery that are probably parting the car since it would be hard to sit on it till the heat calms. but then I am no thief
