Ouch! Sorry to hear about your accident.

I would take it to a certified BMW collision repair shop and have them evaluate the loss, if you haven't done so already. Insurance company will most likely take the route that is cheapest for them to fix. Don't settle if the car cannot be restored to pre-accident condition.

As far as frame damage, did you notice if any panels shifted?
