I think they mean E39 M5. Dimensionally, the F80 and E39 are pretty close. But the F80 will be a couple hundred pounds lighter and have superior chassis stiffness. |
You could be right, but the E39 isn't even relevant anymore, so it's safe to assume they meant the most recent ///M5 before the F10.
