DCT rev hang after flooring it
Just wondering if anyone has a technique or a DCT setting that helps with this (minor) annoyance.
When flooring the car from a stop, the car takes off and gets me to 60 in 4 seconds. OK, now I'm done accelerating, as I can't really bring it up to 150 mph on local roads. I let off the gas and the car stays in 2nd gear at 5000 rpm or whatever and won't shift to third, or fourth, or fifth as it thinks I must be on a racetrack and I'm getting ready to brake hard for the next corner.
I've owned my F80 for a little less than a year. My preferred method at this point is to use the paddles as soon as I'm done accelerating and manually shift to third and then fourth, and then hit an M button on my steering wheel to put it back in automatic. Is this the best (or only) method?
I don't usually start threads, but this is a hard one to google. Thanks.
