Regular 3/5 series leather is dakota leather.
Dakota leather is highly processed leather. While durable, it feels quite cheap.
M3 to M6 has merino leather.
It is much softer and has more upscale feeling to it.
However, if not cared properly, you can easily ruin the leather (eg. dry & cracked leather).
*Treat your leather like human skin. Giving good coffee aroma will give it some more longevity (not scientifically proven but approved by Lups). |
I understand the difference between Dakota leather and Napa leather, but is that the only difference between "regular "and "extended"? Is there leather on any additional surfaces with extended versus what would be in the leather package on a regular 3 series?
