But a coupe looks hotter/sleeker. The loss of some space is the trade off.

The M4 doesn't look as "tough" as the M3, period.
The M4 is sooooo sleek, it's lost it's muscularity and become eloquent and
sexy. I guess a lot of women are buying BMW's M's now..? Men are Manly!! (I don't wear perfume, I wear Cologne).
Sleek doesn't mean "hotter" to me.. it means a car is longer than it should be, and they added length to make is sleek.
Sleek = marketing for "longer".
Simply put, the M3 has a much better "stance" than the M4.
