I stumbled upon Matt Farah's review of the 440 xdrive (not sure how I missed it). Relative to
RugbyBro's beautiful picture of all the past generation Ms, it's important to also reflect on where BMW is right now as a car company, not just because this iteration looks jarring.
Some of his impressions:
"This was the ultimate driving machine like 10 years ago now it's like the ultimate machine for people that would rather do basically anything besides drive"
On the new grill design:
"I've never I haven't spoken to anybody in the last six months that thinks that actually looks good so you know whatever they were thinking they sure committed to it, but yuck it's a it's a heinous looking car.
I think you know just how it looks would keep me out of it. This thing could be the best driving car in the world but no thank you"
