The Macan is nice, but it is very small compared to the Cayenne and if it is the only car that you will own it will be perfect, otherwise it will be compromised. If you choose to keep the M, have a dedicated track car like the Cayman GT4 and a dedicated SUV and this would be ideal.
I own a Macan Turbo and traded in a '13 Cayenne GTS for it. The Macan is essentially the same width, 3" lower in the rear and 6" shorter in the back end. To say it is "very small compared to the Cayenne" is totally false. It's smaller, but not by much, especially not where people sit. Most people that walk up to think its a Cayenne. That's how close they are in size. Also, it runs 12.9 @ 106, which for a lightweight SUV that can actually handle very well, is impressive.
