It looks like the F83 uses pretty much the regular sports seats of the 4 series convertible, while the F80 and F82 got dedicated lightweight sports seats (without thigh extender).

If that is the case you would think the F83 would need to save as much weight as possible and use the same lightweight seats as the F80/F82
