This has been our experience with my wife's 335is Coupe that we've had for almost five years. It works so reliably that we're always surprised when it doesn't.
I've driven/ridden in M3/M4s a few dozen times now and I always wait for the seatbelt to be delivered and of course it never happens
. It's going to take some getting used when I get my M4. I'm used to reaching for the seatbelt in my Z4 M Roadster, but it's closer, and of course the body style is so dissimilar that I never get confused.
