I use rs29s for track and recently installed EBC yellow stuff for the offseason since my stock pads were worned out. I think the rs29s made a bit less dust than the yellow stuff and stop a hell of a lot faster. The yellow stuff is tuned at the edge of squealing. There is a barely noticeable squeal sometimes. I can't comment on the red stuff with my f80, but the yellow stuff is at the edge of my street performance tolerance, given my intoxicating experience with the rs29s.
