Quite the opposite for me. Because I have to lift my leg less, and some of the clutch travel after the engagement point has been removed, I feel like I can actually sit a click or two farther back, which was a good thing, as I like to sit fairly upright. For full disclosure's sake, I'm one of those guys who pretty much always depresses the clutch all the way to the clutch stop; it's just how I learned.
