I had the same thoughts when I was looking at the 911.1. It has more space than the Cayman for a DD, but not for someone with kids. Everyone who says that the rear seats are usable, but if you take a hard look, its barely usable. The frunk still doesn't replace the trunk of a car like the F82 or F80. That was one of the fundamental reasons that I passed on it as I wanted to take my kids out on road trips and have memories.

Someday.

As it was really the only viable coupe that was good at both. They are watering down the trackable side of it in many people's opinions forcing them to look elsewhere with the G series. This doesn't take into account the obviously polarizing looks. Thankfully, there is still the M2 for BMW diehards. But, you need a CS to match an M4 comp in a lot of peoples opinions and you do without a lot of the options that are available on the M4 comps IIRC.

But, if you can have a car without compromises like a Cayman, it is really an amazing driving experience/tons o fun.
