If you have two springs with different rates but the same length, the softer spring will compress more, thus giving you a lower static ride height. That being said, the out-of-box spring rates for the KW CS already allow a max drop of practically bottoming out. Basically, at max drop, a softer spring won't get you any lower without changing the suspension geometry because the shock is already completely compressed.
