I don't know your financials but 12k left? You can't be doing bad at all owning the M3 and buying a new M so keep it. Low miles, paid off? It's a no brainer, that is a manly mans drive way seeing both cars parked next to one another  |
There's a lot of car that I'd prefer to own before owning two generations of M3!

M3 + Cayman S
M3 + RS5
M3 + GT-R
M3 + R8
M3 + TT RS
but M3 + M3 seems like a waste of money to me!
