You are never gonna find it that low. Book time is with hours for DPs if I recall. That's way over. I'd say a good shop who knows the tricks would say 4-5 hours Would be reasonable. Others will chime in. Multiply that by hourly shop rates $125-200/hr here in so Cal.

I agree that $1200 is WAY too much unless there is a lot of fabrication and welding that needs to be done.
