I believe those figures are DCT with start/stop and I think theses numbers are possible if you consider the amount of R&D that was put into this engine plus the weight figures of the F8x. I avg 20.8 mpg in my e39 which is close the manufacture stated figures so I imagine I'll be getting about ~27 mpg since i'm going with the 6 MT. My daily commute mostly involves freeway but I have to drive about 5 mins uphill when coming home.

There is no way the M3 is going to get better mileage than a 335 or in fact based on what you are saying better than a 328.
